The problem
A well-established jewellery retailer had strong walk-in footfall but almost no online presence to match it — a five-year-old website with no mobile optimisation, an unclaimed and inconsistent Google Business Profile, and effectively zero visibility for the local “jewellers near me” searches their actual customers were running before visiting the store.
What we built
Rather than treating the website and local SEO as separate projects, we ran them together: a rebuilt, mobile-first site as the destination, paired with a full local SEO pass — claiming and optimising the Google Business Profile, correcting inconsistent listings across directories, and building out location- and category-specific content the old site had none of.
The result
3x increase in Google Business Profile enquiries within 4 months — calls, direction requests and website clicks sourced directly from local search, not paid traffic. The rebuilt site also gave the sales team a place to point customers for catalogue browsing before an in-store visit, something the old site couldn’t support.
Ongoing
We continue to manage local SEO and content for this client month to month, with the same team that built the site handling both.
